Mark Leisinger

Mark Leisinger is a thirty year veteran of the health and fitness industry. He recently finished a twenty - five year tenure as General Manager at the San Diego Athletic Club. He is certified in personal training and pilates. Mark has completed over 100 marathons and ultra marathons. His hobbies include cycling, hiking or running on any of the scenic San Diego County area trails! He spends his down time with his beloved Italian Greyhound - Pico! .
Yumiko Asamizu
Yumiko Asamizu has well over twenty years in the fitness field. Yumiko is certified in yoga, pilates and personal training. Her hobbies include healthy cooking, swimming and jogging on the beach in her bikini! Her favorite down time activity is spending time in her home town of Hakodate, Japan and visiting the numerous beautiful hot springs in her native country!.
Thom Hunt
Thom Hunt is the San Diego Mesa College head menís cross country and distance coach. Under his guidance, the program has won the past five Pacific Coast Conference titles from 2006-2010, with 28 all-conference performers. In addition, the team has finished second at the state championships in both 2007 and 2008. Hunt has coached six state champions during that span, two in cross country (Dan Gonia 2007, Muluken Beressa 2008) and four in track (Dan Gonia 5,000m and 10,000m, Dave Edwards 1500m and Mike Denman 3000m Steeplechase). Hunt is also secretary for Cross Country Executive Council of USATF and Menís Long Distance Chair for San Diego-Imperial Association of USATF. He is a Level 1 USATF certified coach.
Before coaching, Hunt had a successful 17 year international running career. In high school, Hunt set the national indoor mile record with a time of 4:02.7. As a freshman at the University of Arizona, he won the IAAF Junior International Cross Country title. He was also a seven-time NCAA All-American. During his post collegiate career, Hunt competed in four US Olympic Trials and set an American Record for a 10k with a road 28:12 in 1981.
Coach Hunt is married to Caroline Marshall and they have three children; Marshall, Claire and Chloe. He also plays drums with The Jackals, a no-frills rock Ďní roll band
